This is due to the fact that essentially from the beginning of the fight various zombie variants will begin breaking out of the glass tubes that dot the room and rise out of the floor periodically. The Reubenator is no different to other Mutators, but has arguably the toughest encounter overall out of any “boss” in the game.
As she begins to escape, you must face off against… The Reubenator! He shortly thereafter turns into a Mutator, and you, filled with Fury, throw him into an adjacent room to prevent him from killing Tisha. Going through the door triggers a cutscene where you confront Tisha and Dr Reed, and Reed explains the autophage is dormant inside everyone on the planet, and LA was the sacrifice he had to make in order to create the cure. Go through the door and passageway, then turn left and go down the steps, and heading into the yellow-lit passageway on the left at the bottom. Interact with it to reveal a hidden door behind the cream bookcase. Ultimately, crouch down once facing the inside of the desk and you’ll see a hidden button strapped to the underside of the table. In the next room you’ll find a Workbench to use if you wish, and to progress you’ll need to examine the room for where Dr Reed went next. Grab it and use it on the keycard reader to continue. Immediately turn 180 degrees and look under the counter's rightmost desk to find the Re-Aging Clinic Keycard on the floor tucked in a corner. Go to the back and interact with the keycard reader there to find you need a keycard.
This will raise the overhead shutters, meaning you can climb the collapsed Romero hand statue and crouch through the open gap to drop down into the shop. Once all the zombies have been dealt with, investigate the keycard reader to the Re-Aging Clinic shop on the right at the dead end, and then use the switch to the right of the shop windows. Leaving the others at the helicopter at the end of The End of the Line, vault over the fence and begin heading down the red carpet to your right.Ĭurve around to the left at the far end and deal with the several Walkers and Shamblers that are in your path, as well as a Screamer.
