I call them only to spend long times on hold, then receive unhelpful and flat out wrong instructions from the customer reps. What follows is a month, yes, a month, of frustration with Digital River. As an IT professional I had already tried all the end user solvable remedies and the case gets escalated. I contact their chat agent, who just tells to use another browser, disable extensions, clear caches. Instead the site malfunctions and no longer removes VAT, as expected in a B2B inter-EU purchase. It should have been a simple process, select the computer and its components, enter your information, receive an invoice, pay it and done. I attempted to buy a build to order computer from Lenovo store for a company I work for. In the meantime they have taken my money and will not return it until they get the machine back. I am informed that I may have to wait 6 days for DHL to contact me about it. They suggested I return it and order again, but if their website gives incorrect details I don't want to risk it again. I then tried emailing with the same issue, but they too insisted that I had the correct machine and that according to the specification it had no number pad. I might as well have been talking in Swahili (or perhaps they were) as all they kept on saying was that I had been sent the correct machine, the one I had ordered, and the specification was correct, there was no number pad. I then tried to contact Customer Services with a view to a replacement, with a number pad. It arrived, the Product Code was as ordered, but it had no number pad.

As I use numbers a lot, a numeric keypad was essential, and the one I ordered was listed as having one. I ordered a lenovo laptop from the digital river website.
